I am excited to be starting a new monthly Makers Market at the lovely big bright space St Cuthbert’s church, just up from my shop. I I want to bring more people to our lovely part of Bristol and give reasons to gather, connect and celebrate community, crafts and the seasons.
The July Market will celebrate summer colours and designs, with garden and floral themed art, natural plant skincare, plantable cards and rose inspired chocolates. In the morning at 11am, all ages can have a go at making pressed flower tealight holders (suggested donation £5) and in the afternoon 1 till 3, kids can make paper flowers with Colourful Minds for free.
Teas and coffees in July are provided by the church for donations and we are raising money for Salisbury based charity, Plantlife, who do great work in wild plant and fungi conservation. There will be a raffle to win designs by all the makers involved, as well as donation buckets.
You can find out more about all the makers at each market on the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/987629474230225/987632264229946?active_tab=about
