A set of three handmade ceramic garden mushrooms by ceramicist Nicola, hand built in high-fired, frost-proof stoneware with an iron oxide finish and worked from photographs of real fungi to capture every twist and detail. Each mushroom is fixed to a stainless steel rod so it can be pushed straight into a flower bed, planter, or large indoor plant pot, and left outdoors year-round. They’re substantial and detailed enough that people often assume they’re carved from wood until they feel the weight.
Sizes (including the rod) are approximately 19cm, 16cm, and 14cm long for the largest, medium, and smallest mushroom. As seen in The Landscape Magazine, October 2022. Each set is completely unique, as every piece is shaped by hand.
