A faithful reproduction of Becca Thorne’s Eostre original linocut print. One of four foliate faces in her Woodwose series of linocut prints celebrating old Brittanic, Celtic and Anglo Saxon spirits. Eostre was an Anglo Saxon goddess of spring, who may have given her name to Ēosturmōnaþ (Eostre’s month, roughly April), and later the English name for the Christian spring festival of Easter.
Printed in Cornwall on 100% FSC certified stock, made from 100% post-consumer waste and carbon captured. The printer also uses profits to fund the fantastic efforts of The Woodland Trust in protecting and creating our beautiful native woodlands. Each card comes with a recycled brown Kraft paper envelope.
