The useful and beautiful match bottles make great Christmas gifts! I think they’re the gift for someone who has everything. They are made by a small husband and wife team in Oxfordshire whose focus is traditional letterpress stationery but they also make collector style matchboxes and these lovely large, chunky glass bottles full of matches. Each one holds roughly 135 luxury long matches with colourful tips, and features a cork stopper and a cleverly positioned strike plate on the underneath of the bottle. They strike really easily and are great for outdoor fires as the bottle keeps the matches dry if it’s a bit damp. These are a perfect mantelpiece accessory and make a lovely, unusual gift!
