Calling all people who work with their hands! This salve is a perfect addition to the herbal first aid kit. Use topically for sprains, soft tissue damage, grazes, joint pain, fractures, bug bites. Anti inflammatory, healing and formulated for deep repair with comfrey, ribwort plantain and lavender.

Made with organic, cold pressed, plant infused oil and local beeswax. No essential oils, just pure plant extractions. Available in Small 30g tin or Large 600g tin. Handmade by Celeste of Lazuli Remedies in small batches in Bristol, using herbs and flowers from her allotment and local sustainable farms.

Herbal Highlihts: Comfrey has the common name “knitbone” for its ability to repair fractures and sprains. It is a useful herb for supporting the healing process, but only use after a bone has been set. The high allantoin content supports healthy tissue repair and aids healing for an array of skin injuries. Comfrey is a rapid skin accelerator and can quickly heal the top layer of skin together, leaving a pocket underneath where bacteria can fester. Do not use on deep wounds or lacerations. Use on minor cuts and grazes.
Ribwort Plantain is often used in herb poultices to repair wounds, insect bites and stings.
Lavender has antimicrobial and mood lifting qualities.

How to use: Scoop out a small amount and gently rub onto affected area. Repeat when necessary until healed. For sprains and light fractures, smooth a thick layer onto the skin, and wrap with a muslin cloth. Hold it in position to allow the salve to fully sink in and do the work.
