Inspired by nature and golden grasses in meadows. Some people see a beach and dunes, I see rolling golden grass covered hills. These beautiful large hand thrown mugs, by Bristol ceramicist Majka, were created for me with a shared vision and several glaze combination experiments. Made from stoneware clay, with a pulled handle. and glazed in satin white with intentional layers of honey and brown tones to invoke memories of golden hills and misty walks in nature. These unique cups have been 6 months in the dreaming and making and I love them.
