Beautiful bright hand-poured beeswax Gonk candles made using West Country beeswax by Devin of Beeswax Alchemy in Devon. They have a lovely soft honey smell and create a beautiful soft glow light. I love Gonks. They are inspired by gnomes and hobgoblins found in Scandinavia and Nordic Mythology.
Originally, if you were lucky enough to have a Gonk live near or with you they were said to bring you good luck and protection, especially during the colder season.
Make sure to burn on a plate or candle holder, due to the shape this candle will drip.

The wax is from local bees collected during the harvesting of their honey. It is filtered and melted to produce these beautiful, unique candles. Beeswax candles may seem expensive, but they burn more slowly than paraffin candles, and even better, beeswax candles burn with almost no smoke or scent and clean the air by releasing negative ions into the air. These negative ions can bind with toxins and help purify the air. They are often especially helpful for those with asthma or allergies and they remove common allergens like dust from the air.
Tips for using your candles:
• Remove all wrapping and packaging from your candle before lighting
• Ensure your candle is safely anchored and away from flammable objects before lighting.
• Keep your wick to no longer than 5mm
• Don’t use hurricane lamps or lanterns for your candles, beeswax burns far hotter than many candle waxes and reduces oxygen flow which may cause the wick to smoke the glass and cause wax to spill over the side or lead to uneven burning.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
