My great friend Jess hand engraved this beautiful summery sunflower onto a lovely yellow glass square frame which makes the design really stand out. I love how the sunflower looks a warm yellow colour on the reverse too thanks to the glass colour. She etches the glass using a point engraving technique whereby she draws the illustration on to the surface of the glass using a drill. Each piece is entirely unique. Her glass engravings are framed in metal using the Tiffany technique of copper foil and lead solder. She then adds a thin dark green satin ribbon to hang them with.

Jess takes her inspiration from the ephemeral beauty of nature for her illustrations. Made for the love of nature and wildflowers and inspired by her garden. Perfect to hang from windows or in front of a mirror and give as a gift to someone special. Each one comes in a lovely dark blue cotton gift bag.
