A handcrafted wall-hanging plaque by Bristol ceramicist Wendy Calder, made by imprinting real meadow grasses into slabbed white earthenware. A green underglaze highlights the grass imprints, before a transparent glaze is added and small hanging holes are cut into the piece. Each plaque comes ready to hang, threaded with twine.
Measuring approximately 12cm x 8cm, though this varies slightly depending on the number of grasses used in each design — meaning every plaque is genuinely one of a kind.
