A hand built ceramic soap dish by trained ceramicist and gardener Helen, made from the imprints of real meadow grasses and lavender collected on her walks and grown in her garden. Three holes are added to the design to let bar soap drain properly and last longer.
Helen uses a variety of oxides and stains to highlight the pressed detail, and fires each piece just once for a more natural finish that’s also better for the environment. High-fired to 1240°C, the dish is robust and frost-proof, and can be hand washed or placed on the top rack of the dishwasher.
Measuring 11cm in diameter. As with all handmade pieces, each one is unique.
