Come and join us at The Engine Room, Bristol for a hands-on experience in creating artist grade inks from natural, kitchen ingredients. In this workshop, you will be shown which plants, vegetables, fruits and berries can be used for ink making. You will be taught how to extract their colour and how to use modifiers and binders. Let your creativity flow as you experiment with different colours. No prior experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. (And clothes you don’t mind getting inky!). All materials will be provided. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to explore the art of natural ink making with like-minded individuals.

You will also receive a digital instruction manual, covering all of the techniques and a project to make your own oak gall and iron ink at home.
