I love burning candles on darker evenings and try to avoid too much artificial light — and these are the ones I reach for. Hand-dipped in Devon using traditional methods by a beekeeper who uses wax from his own apiaries, they burn with the most beautiful steady golden glow that you really only get from pure beeswax. The natural honey scent is subtle and warm, and because they’re hand-dipped they have a long, slow burn time of around 8–9 hours each. Unlike paraffin candles, pure beeswax is free from petrochemicals, soy, palm oil or artificial fragrance, and actually emits negative ions thought to help purify the air — genuinely beneficial for those with allergies or asthma. Tips for using your candles.
• Remove all wrapping and packaging from your candle before lighting
• Ensure your candle is safely anchored and away from flammable objects before lighting.
• Keep your wick to no longer than 5mm
