I love these cute wooden plant pot companions by self-confessed hoarder Lily Faith. In her words she comes “from a family of collectors, hoarders of hedgerow trinkets, found ephemera, or good pieces of packaging. We weave them into our home interiors without thought, for a smattering of hedgerow whimsy and a hearty dose of humour. And the Plant Pot Companions evolved from this, a happy marriage of up-cycling and celebrating joyful, frivolous moments”
These little creatures come to life when they are laser cut and engraved from wood, and their features and details are hand painted. Next, the wires are added with a healthy dollop of glue, and piece of recycled paper. They are then carefully packed in pairs in their bespoke picture frame box, one slightly shorter than the other. The individual plant pot companions measure ca. 2.1 cm, plus 8.5 and 6.5 cm for height.
Choose from 5 lovely plant pot companions – hedgehogs, bees, tortoiseshell butterflies, barn owls and swallows. Or maybe get a few.
Due to their small parts and delicate nature, these are not suitable for children.
